Arianna and Nicholas : CT Wedding at Lord Thompson Manor
April 5, 2011 WEDDINGS
Arianna and Nicholas were married on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at the Lord Thompson Manor in Thompson, CT. I played what I wanted to happen over and over in my head before the wedding, I usually do--visualization is huge for me. Things never happen as planned, however I couldn't be happier with the images created for Arianna and Nicholas. They were amazing to work with, had a wonderful group of people surrounding them, and threw a fabulous party.

Below are a few of my favorite images from the day, shown in order as they were taken. Arianna and Nicholas choose to see each other before the ceremony, which may not be traditional but has several advantages (spending more time with each before the festivities begin, enjoying cocktail hour, having more time to take photos and in the end having more pictures to remember the day). Enjoy!
Arianna's gorgeous gown is Amasle.
Kate Spade wedding shoes and Hunter Boots. The adorable parasol was her grandmother's. I actually emailed Arianna after meeting her at the Lord Thompson Manor tasting, asking her what she thought about wellies and an umbrella (fun props for an April wedding!). It was a go and I was thrilled she was game for spicing up a few pictures. She already had the boots, and I was on the hunt for an umbrella. Thankfully, Arianna found her grandmother's parasol a few days later--I bought an umbrella but it does not compare to this family heirloom. For those out there who are inspired, I found a company who rents parasols, Bella Umbrella.
The pin on the bouquet is also a family heirloom, her grandmother had a lot of beautiful things.
The ring inscription inspired the music in the slideshow.
Priscilla did the girls' hair and make-up at The Cottage House.
Nicholas's gift to Arianna is this beautiful necklace above.
Flowers for the day were made by the very talented Jackie Silverston.
Arianna rode in her uncle's Eldorado from the cottage to the manor.
This is the private moment, when Arianna and Nicholas see each other for the first time. Playing in the background was Train's Marry Me, and not a dry eye in the room.

Meet Jackson, Arianna and Nicholas's boxer. He was very excited for the wedding.
Arianna and Nicholas had a graphic of a two seater bike on many pieces of their wedding stationary. The bike being there was a huge surprise to me, love it!
After all of that photo taking, Arianna and Nicholas tied the knot.

Arianna and Nicholas wrote each other the most beautiful vows, and again had everyone crying.
Lou Lou grabbed this awesome capture above, love it!
Above photo by my Mother, Mary Dinneen...I'm on the roof. Thanks Mom!
The details were a huge deal to Arianna, she found the right match in me because I love them as well.
