Melinda and Paul are to be married in September at The Simsbury Inn. I recently photographed their engagement session in the adorable town of Norfolk, Connecticut. Paul proposed to Melinda at the Infinity Music Hall & Bistro (in Norfolk) while one of their favorite bands was playing. Paul literally got up on stage and down on one knee! It was the perfect location for Melinda and Paul's engagement session.

Stacy and Erik were married on July 16, 2011 on Block Island. The ceremony and celebration took place at The Sullivan House. It was a perfect day for the Stacy and Erik on their favorite summer get away spot with all of their friends and family. They have the most amazing journey to get to this day; meeting in high school, dated through college, and after 12 years Erik pops the question. A solid foundation for a lifetime of happiness!

Last year was my first trip to Block Island. I fell in love with it. While on the beach I saw the tent of The Sullivan House, looked at my friend and said, "Wouldn't it be soooo rad to photograph a wedding here." Ask and you shall receive. Thank you Stacy and Erik for choosing me to capture your big day, thank you to Katie and Gary for referring me (and remembering me after almost four years!). I couldn't dream a better dream.

My brides have really been rocking some amazing earrings; Stacy came correct with these stunning earrings that her father picked out for her (how sweet is that, not to mention great taste!). The ring is Stacy's grandmother's.

Stacy's father's car was killer! A Chevy, something my dad would really enjoy seeing (he, along with many other family members, worked for the General Motors plant here in Bristol--which is no longer open).

Stacy and Erik whisked Cherry (my assistant) and myself away to Mansion Beach, love it!

I was so glad to "borrow" the bikes since we were hoping to grab something with them at the engagement session, but didn't.

Perfect sunset / ending for the perfect day. Huge congrats again to Stacy and Erik!

After Cherry and I had a blast of a weekend on Block Island, I got home to receive the following text message from Stacy; "Can I even begin to tell you how much Erik and I love you and Cherry?! Let's put it this way, you felt like guests. Thank you for everything." Icing on the cake!
