Tonight I was working on a few items (after a great engagement session in WHC), I briefly checked Facebook to find a great little note from Dan (of Cara and Dan married two years ago today--Happy Anniversary!!). Here's what Dan had to say...

Hi Alissa, Today is Cara and my 2nd wedding anniversary. After dinner we sat down and went through our wedding album. I continue to be blown away by how beautiful it is every time I open it up. You did such an amazing job. I can't thank you enough for preserving our special day the way you did. It's 2 years later and I've yet to see an album that comes close to comparing, but perhaps I'm a bit biased. :) Thanks Again! Dan

I feel like the luckiest person in the world, I love what I do! It is such a joy to be able to create something that will be treasured for a lifetime.

Christina and Shaun are to be married in June 2011. This past week I had a chance to meet up with them again and photograph their engagement session at Wickham Park, over the years this has been a favorite for fall (see below).

Shaun had asked me towards the beginning of the engagement session if the cloudy sky was good. It is good, but in this case I think it was pretty fantastic. This spot on top of the hill is super bright on a sunny day. This filtered, even light really worked towards our advantage.

Kristen and Joe are getting married in July 2011. This past week I got a chance to photograph their engagement session at (you guessed it) Lyman Orchards. I really love it there because it screams fall New England. It's the perfect backdrop for a fall engagement, and I have Caren and Adam (one of my August 2010 couples) to thank for finding one of my favorite spots.
