January 18, 2012 ALBUMS
Creating wedding albums is one of my favorite parts of the job; visually creating the story of the day with images I've created. Putting together the layout is time consuming on both my part and the clients' part, but seeing the final product in print makes it so worth while. There is nothing like feeling the final product and viewing the printed images.
Here are a few images of my newest sample albums. Below is The Wedding Book, my latest addition to the album offerings. The Wedding Book is a sophisticated album with thin, flush-mounted pages featuring a modern design.
The two books standing up here are parent sized books; to the left is a companion book and the right is a custom parent book.

I love all of the cover materials the Wedding Book offers, as well as the imprinting options.
Below is a new sample of The Coffee Table Book, which I've carried for several years. This book is a casual, bound coffee style picture book.
Here are a few of my latest layout pages from a few different books.
Melissa + Dustin's CT Engagement : Glastonbury
January 10, 2012 ENGAGEMENTS
Dustin is one of my husband John's very close childhood friend. Most of the time I've known John, Dustin has been living in Orlando, Florida. This past year Dustin's girlfriend Melissa, who's from Florida, moved up to Connecticut to live with him. I've gotten a chance to get to know both Dustin and Melissa; I just love them.
Melissa helped me out at a couple weddings this past summer, and was a fantastic assistant. I immediately liked her. Later in the year, September, Dustin popped the question and Melissa said yes! I then offered to do a fall engagement session (planning on for peak foliage). We had to reschedule several times, and at one point I was wondering if we could make it happen. Post Winter Storm Alfred, we finally got a date that worked and weather that cooperated. We plan on taking pictures at Wickham Park, and it was closed (assuming lots of tree damage from the storm). In a panic I call John--I didn't know what to do and Dustin and Melissa were on their way. We decide to go to Minnechaug Golf Club (where John is the head professional); Dustin is in golf as well so it works!
Here are a few of my favorites from the session. Enjoy!
Congrats again to Melissa and Dustin! Can't wait for the wedding!
